The initial name and address of the building was: “Two Two Three North Terrace”, However, the Emergency Services (specifically Ambulance Service) complained as this address did not correspond to the physical street address for access and the formal and postal address became "4 - 8 Charles Street".
The building has also been informally called “Martin Towers” as it sits atop what was originally the John Martins carpark.
