The following apartment maintenance activities are recommended:

Monthly:
-
Clean balcony doors and balcony fence.
(Suggest sponging down the glass with warm water and then use Windex and lots of paper
towels to get rid of the streaks).

Quarterly:

Clean bathroom and laundry exhaust vents in celling
(Suggest using a vacuum cleaner to suck out the fluff)

Clean filter in kitchen range hood
(Ideally the activated-charcoal filter should be replaced, either way, it needs to be
removed from the range hood and subsequently replaced with either a new filter or
you could soak the current one in water and detergent for a couple of hours.
Before reassembly, make sure that the filter is well dry.)

Half-Yearly:

Check hinges on cupboard doors and tighten screws if required.

Check door locks and lubricate with graphite powder.

Clean Air Conditioner filter. Again, a vacuum cleaner comes in handy to clean the
filter.

Five-Yearly:
-
Check sealants around bath, sinks and showers (including shower doors).
-
Check balcony for corrosion - if suspected please contact the Caretaker.
